First Meeting

Well, our first meeting went really well. I was very impressed at how much the girls knew and remembered from last year. We worked on the Promise, the Law, and started earning our first key on the quest. The girls learned more about themselves (and each other). We talked about special talents, skills, and likes that they each had. Then we talked about the values that are present within the Girl Scout Law. We played a game to do this. The final step the girls need to take to earn the first key needs to be completed at home. This is the family star activity they should have brought home. I can't wait to see how they turn out.
Our next meeting is on Wed. 22 Oct. We will continue working on the promise and law as well as learn some other things about the Girl Scouting Program while we are earning the Try It- Girl Scout Ways.
